Prices are very subjective as fur coat, temperament
is all taken into consideration before a price is quoted.
My price may not match other home breeders,
but they're definitely a good price than getting from the Pet Shops itself.
and are guaranteed bubbly and tamed,
as i tame them personally when they're young.
PACKAGES !!
For those people, who're interested in signing PACKAGES with me.
I'll briefly explain again.
A Package includes :
1 or 2 hamsters (depending on buyer's preferance)
1 Cage (choose your cage at HERE)
1 Pack of Recycled Paper Based Bedding 6litre.
1 Pack of my Recommended Quality Food.
please note that the packages are AT LEAST $65.
the prices are DEFINITELY much better than market prices of $90++.
the price actually VARIES,
because of the different hamster breeds are at different prices,
different cages are at different prices.
and yes, a few customers have actually told me,
they can get everything below $50.
True, i dont deny that.
but of course what you get won't be QUALITY stuff definitely,
because when you sign packages with me, i ONLY recommend you whats BEST for you and your hamster. =]
Think about it,
HAMSTERS
Hamsters at Pet Lovers can sell at $8 each.
Yes, there's no denying its very cheap.
However, are those babies? i only sell babies. =]
those sold at $8 are OFTEN quite big.
and one more point you may need to consider.
Pet Shops have ALOT of hamsters, they definitely don't bring their hamsters out to play and tame them the way i do.
So, what you MAY be getting from Pet Shops, may be cheap,
but they're definitely not as tame, and may bite as they're not handled often,
unlike how i handle and tame my babies.
CAGE
The cheapest cage im offering is at $25.
Its really a simple and sweet cage by Dayang Pet Products.
I do not carry any other cages which you see selling really cheap at neighbourhood petshops,
as i find that they're not really good cages in my opinion.
and the cage prices which im offering are actually rather good as compared to market prices of premier shops like Pet Lovers, Pet Safari, Sam's Pets & Aquarium, Pets Kampong or Pets Village.
those prices are very carefully quoted after doing alot of market survey, to make much more affordable as compared to outside.
so if you happen to see the same cage, selling same price, or cheaper, well its definitely your luck, because i really did my market survey, or probably the shop's clearing stock. =]
BEDDING & FOOD
lets come to bedding first.
the bedding recommended by myself is RECYCLED paper based.
its 100% environmental friendly and totally absorbant.
i have a few customers who tell me they can get things much cheaper than what im offering.
but definitely what you're getting, will NOT be quality stuff.
with $2.50 or $3 you can easily get Wood Shavings as bedding.
however it is NOT a good bedding as it stinks really fast,
and may even stain the base of your cage/tank.
some Shavings are even scented and pet shops tell you its good and cheap.
however, scented shavings are SCIENTIFICALLY proven to contain Phenol Oils,
which is very harmful for hamsters respiratory system.
thus i NEVER recommend other beddings,
other than recycled paper based.
im not saying Shavings are not good,
but its definitely nowhere as durable and lasting as Recycled Paper Based.
lets move on to food.
food, is actually a very good topic to debate over.
usually, most of the breeders out there use a SPECIFIC brand,
like lets say, Prestige, Harry Hamster, Vitakraft or Sluis.
i have very carefully chosen a food which i'm very satisfied with,
which actually has no brand, but the food mix contains of 60% sunflower seeds,
corn, pellets and small grains.
it is actually a good mix, as hamsters love to eat sunflower seeds alot.
however, sunflower seeds ALONE, are unhealthy and fattening,
thus, i decided upon this mix, which is 60% sunflower seeds and quite balanced with others as well.
Overall,
I just want to say, i only recommend what's best for my customers.
thus, the price of a package is at least $65.
BUDGET BUYERS
however, if you're on budget, there's definitely something we can work out,
maybe if you're really very tight on cash, i'll have no choice,
but to get shavings-based bedding for you, which is more cheap.
food wise, if you have a specific brand of food you'd like, just let me know
other i'll probably stick to my own recommendation,
but get a smaller pack for you and see if you like the mix?
I'm really flexible about all these.
I just needed to say,
that having so many hamsters at home,
I definitely have a certain expectation and quite picky bout stuffs such as food and bedding,
as these things are very crucial to the hamsters' health.
